The Accuris™ Smart-Q™ 100 & Smart-Q™ 800 Fluorometers are designed for the precise quantification of DNA, RNA, and protein samples. By utilizing well-established methodologies for fluorescence detection, the Smart-Q Fluorometers provide higher specificity and enhanced accuracy compared to the traditional method of UV-absorbance detection. Accurate results are particularly crucial in workflows involving: Next Generation Sequencing PCR Transfection Western blotting Immunoassays The Smart-Q Fluorometers are engineered to achieve optimal performance with Accuris’ Fluorescent DNA Quantification Kits and assay tubes; however, they also maintain compatibility with a range of kits offered by various other suppliers. Intuitive Usability Each instrument is equipped with a 7-inch color touchscreen, featuring an intuitive, icon-driven user interface. Preprogrammed protocols allow for quick & effortless assay set-up. Results are quickly calculated and displayed in less than 6 seconds, and saved to the instrument’s internal memory. All data can also be exported easily to a PC using a USB flash drive. Accurate Quantification The Smart-Q Fluorometers, along with their accompanying assay kits, are engineered for the precise measurement of fluorescent dye signals that are bound to targeted biological molecules. These specially formulated dyes exhibit selective affinity towards DNA, RNA, or proteins, and generate fluorescent signals exclusively upon binding to their respective targets. Both Smart-Q models include Blue and Red channels that allow for various fluorescent dyes to be used in nucleic acid and protein measurements. The Smart-Q Fluorometers incorporate advanced curve-fitting algorithms to establish calibration curves from standard samples of known concentrations. The concentration of an unknown sample, whether it be DNA, RNA, or protein, is determined by correlating its Relative Fluorescence Units (RFUs) with those of the standards employed during calibration. The measurement sensitivity for each type of assay is distinct and defined by its detection limits. Options for Throughput The Smart-Q portfolio includes two distinct models, each designed to meet specific laboratory requirements: The Smart-Q 100 allows for single-sample processing in 0.5mL assay tubes (NS1020-T) . This renders the Smart-Q 100 ideal for laboratories processing fewer samples. The Smart-Q 800 caters to high-throughput workflows and allows for up to eight samples to be evaluated at once using individual 0.2mL tubes or 8 x 0.2mL strips tubes (Order no. F1001-T and F1001-T-8, ) . The use of a standard 8-channel pipettor can streamline both the reagent preparation and sample transfer, making the Smart-Q 800 an efficient solution for workflows requiring parallel processing of multiple samples. Accuris DNA Quantification Kits Accuris DNA Quantification Kits are designed for accurate fluorescent quantification of dsDNA using an instrument such as the SmartDrop XF, Qubit™or Accuris™ Fluorometer. The reagents are highly selective for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), and not for single-stranded DNA (ssDNA), RNA, protein, or nucleotides. Included with each kit are a concentrated assay reagent, dilution buffer, and ready-to-use DNA standards. The assay reagent is diluted using the buffer provided, sample is added (1 µL to 20 µL of sample is needed), and the concentration can be determined using an appropriate fluorometer instrument. High Sensitivity dsDNA Assay Kit The Accuris High Sensitivity kit provides an accurate method for quantitation of dsDNA samples when sensitivity is required. Depending on sample volume, the assay kit is designed to be accurate for initial DNA sample concentrations of 0.005 to 120 ng/µL, providing a detection range of 0.1−120 ng. 0.1 to 100 ng/ul, providing detection of 0.1 to 100 ng Broad Range dsDNA Assay Kit The Accuris Broad Range kit provides an accurate method for quantitation of dsDNA samples for a broad range quantity of DNA. Depending on sample volume, the assay kit is designed to be accurate for initial DNA sample concentrations of 0.2 to 2,000 ng/µL, providing a detection range of 4−2,000 ng.

E3000 UV Transilluminator The E3000 features a space-saving design, with a width of only 10.5 inches, to fit perfectly in any busy laboratory. However, the 16 x 19 cm UV viewing surface is sized to accommodate large gels or multiple smaller gels. The illuminated surface is comprised of a special black glass which is easy to clean, durable and scratch resistant. An array of 4 high intensity UV bulbs coupled with an optimized filter provides even illumination across the viewing surface and allows detection of small sample quantities. The dual intensity switch can be used to lower the UV intensity to 50% to reduce DNA damage during long exposure times, or switch to high intensity (100%) for viewing weak fluorescent signals or for photo documentation. E3100 UV Transilluminator The E3100 has a surprisingly small footprint (smaller than a standard piece of paper), and modern design. The viewing surface – 16.5 x 13.5 cm filter glass – is large enough to accommodate a mid-sized gel or multiple smaller gels. The E3100 is perfectly suited for use with our SmartDoc ™ Imaging Enclosure and filters (sold separately) for gel imaging with a smartphone. Use filter E5001-UVBLOCK for best results when imaging SmartGlow, SYBR or ETBR stained gels. E3200 UV Transilluminator The E3200 offers a large viewing surface of 21 x 26 cm to accommodate larger gels or multiple small gels. High powered, 14-Watt UV bulbs provide higher sensitivity, so the smallest bands of stained nucleic acids can be visualized. The E3200 also features a control knob for continuous adjustment of the UV intensity. All Accuris UV Transilluminators incorporate scratch-resistant, UV filter glass. Peak output emission of 302nm is ideal for excitation of gels stained with Ethidium Bromide, SmartGlow™, SYBR® Green and other common gel stains. Acrylic UV blocking covers allow safe viewing of samples, and friction hinges on the front edge allow positioning of the cover at an angle for gel access. Optional SmartBlue™ Plus Viewing Glasses
